Mission Statement

Our facility's main goal is help solve the pet overpopulation by getting all of our animals spayed/neutered before adoption and encouraging those already with pets to spay/neuter. We believe with more public awareness we can defeat the problem of unwanted pets throughout St. Lucie County.

Description

Dogs & Cats Forever is a No-Kill animal shelter located in Port St. Lucie West on a 10.2 acre property. We are currently caring for 52 dogs and 64 cats. The dogs stay in their kennels throughout the night complete with their own dishes, toys and beds and they are lead out of their kennels in the morning and paired up in runs or fenced in fields to play for the day. While the cats are divided up into six rooms, four of which have porches complete with furniture and shelving for them to climb and lay on.

Beacuse My Little Sister Isis Smith has been telling me about this organization and i decied to Volunteer. She has been reading Pets of the week every singel day and she will be Volunteering also in due time.
