Description
The Trustees of Reservations is a member-supported, non-profit conservation and preservation organization founded in 1891 to preserve properties of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value within Massachusetts and to educate the public about the value of this effort. The Trustees of Reservations is a recognized leader in protecting and managing natural and historic resources for public use. Our success is rooted in sound strategic planning, the adherence to fundamental management policies and procedures, fiscal responsibility and a strong partnership between staff and volunteers. With the support of more than 40,000 member families and more than 50,000 volunteer hours each year, we manage more than 100 properties acrossMassachusettsfor the public’s use and enjoyment.
