Bacon's Castle is an excellent place to build museum skills. As a volunteer, I work in many areas of my choosing, including site & event marketing, group tour guiding, researching, and living history interpreting. The size of Bacon's Castle allows volunteers to contribute toward operational needs, explore museum disciplines and skills, and develop a museum resume. The staff at the Castle is very flexible with schedules, friendly to guests and staff, and enthusiastic about my efforts and the future of the Castle. Your volunteerism will help bring Bacon's Castle to the level of national recognition and visitation it deserves. I look forward to working with you at the Castle.
