Volunteer Grant Writer

Flexible Schedule | Fort Worth, TX 76118

HFCC is seeking a volunteer with grant writing experience to submit foundation grant applications as needed throughout the year. The ideal applicant will have at least 5 years of grant writing experience and a Bachelors degree. The grant writer would work closely with the Executive Director to develop and write grant proposals. The grant writer would be expected to abide by each project schedule, turn in rough drafts and final copies in a timely manner, and be receptive to feedback from the Executive Director in order to craft competitive grant proposals. Ideally a candidate would live near the Fort Worth; however, HFCC is open to hiring a remote-based volunteer who has demonstrated the ability to work successfully in a virtual/remote role.

The mission of The Homes for Children Corporation is to provide hope and healing to troubled youth who are at-risk, abused and neglected so they can become independent, productive adults.

The Homes for Children Corporation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for children and youth who are abused, neglected runaway, abandoned, homeless and at-risk and/or families that are in crisis.

When a child registers for one of the programs at the Homes for Children, your family becomes a part of ours. Even though many families are in great distress when they join us, research supports our view of families as the ultimate model of love, belonging and healing.
