Mission Statement

The North Carolina AIDS Action Network (NCAAN) is the only statewide advocacy organization dedicated to fighting for the rights of people living with HIV/AIDS, their loved ones, and those at risk of acquiring HIV/AIDS in North Carolina.

Description

NCAAN fulfills our mission by educating the public about issues of concerns to the HIV/AIDS community, such as improving access to care, supporting effective prevention programs, and challenging HIV-related stigma; by advocating for sound policies that improve access to care and prevent new cases of HIV; and, by strengthening our statewide community of people living with HIV/AIDS and allies united in their commitment to advancing our goals.
