Mission Statement

The purpose of the CASA program is established to support and provide well-trained, court appointed special advocates, who will work one a one on one basis with abused, neglected, and dependent children (age birth to eighteen) who enter the Franklin County juvenile court system. A CASA volunteer investigates the facts surrounding the case, makes recommendations to the court, and monitors the case until permanency is achieved.

Description

CASA advocates work with children who are involved in juvenile court due to physical and sexual abuse. The advocates will work with the children, family, foster parents, the court, and agencies to ensure the best interest of the child(ren) is served.
