As a Miracle League of the Triangle Volunteer Announcer you give light hearted play-by-play of two miracle league games. We do not have any specific training, but we have created a "guideline" sheet that can be emailed to you and provided to you when you arrive for your shift. You will receive a roster before every game with names, pronunciations, pronouns, and a nickname! The type of announcer you want to be is completely up to you. We have announcers that brings the energy is loud, teases the fans, and makes people laugh during the game, while we have other great announcers who are much more "by the book" type of announcing. We just ask you to be respectful while you are behind the Microphone!

Our mission is to create positive life experiences for children and adults with special needs and for their families through baseball. We give them a sense of team and community that they miss out on in a "normal" setting.You will be helping a special needs athlete play baseball to the best of their agility! NO BASEBALL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED WE WILL TRAIN YOU TO BE GREAT BUDDIES!
