Description

Second Chance is an all volunteer, NO-KILL, animal rescue organization serving the WNY area. In the early 1990's, a group of dedicated animal lovers realized that there was a need for a place for cats/dogs to go that did not fit into the traditional shelter settings.

Where does the pregnant mother cat or dog go to have their litters? Where does the unweaned kitten or puppy go to be hand raised and bottle fed? To the waiting arms of a loving Second Chance volunteer.

Needless births contribute to needles deaths in traditional shelters. The overpopulation problem in our area is hugh and to help with that problem, Second Chance has run a low-cost spay neuter program for cats/dogs since 2001.

Being an all volunteer rescue with no paid staff, Second Chance has become a "family of animal lovers" who have banded together to save lives. Come and be part of the family and meet people of the same mind as you are........animal lovers
