Mission Statement

The mission of the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House (LLRMH) is to provide a home away from home to families while their children receive medical treatment at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and other nearby hospitals.

Description

Most of the children are in critical condition, making it very important that the family is near their ill child. Since opening on September 11, 1996, the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House has served more than 15,000 families.

The Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House supports more than 54 families each night. We have 54 rooms at the House.

Room requests are sent from the social workers at the hospital. Requests are reviewed based on diagnosis and distance. Each family is considered on a case by case basis based on room availability. The average length of stay for families is eight days

A fee of $12.00 per night is charged to stay at the IERMH. However, no family is ever turned away due to inability to pay. Funds to operate the House come from contributions through individual gifts, special events, corporate donations and foundation grants, We rely heavily on the support we receive in our community
