We do this through financially sound community-based businesses that provide vital vocational services to our community.

Description

Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay has been changing lives through the principle of, "Not Charity, but a Chance" since 1919. Today, Goodwill is the nation’s largest network of nonprofit job training providers, with 158 local Goodwill affiliates in the US that delivered job training and employment services to 1.9 million clients in 2009. Goodwill’s nationwide social enterprise generates $3.6 billion in revenue per year to help fund workforce development.
