Mission Statement

Attention !! We need more everyday Heros !! This means YOU !!!

The East Aurora Fire Department is 100% Volunteer and responds to fires, auto accidents, medical emergencies, special rescue circumstances and miscellaneous emergencies around the clock, 365 days a year. The department operates three engine companies and a ladder tower company with heavy rescue from the central fire station on Oakwood Avenue in the village of East Aurora.

Description

The Department is comprised of 54 men and women firefighters who maintain their skills with regular training schools, and drills and exercises.

All of our members are people just like YOU. They have jobs and families and responsibilities too.. yet they find the time to help where they can.

Membership is open to any physically fit resident of the District of minimum age of 18.

Believe it or not.. we have active members much older than that. Everyone helps in whatever way they can.
