Mission Statement

To rescue, rehabilitate, and adopt out horses in need while educating the public in the proper care of equine husbandry. To provide a special link between rescued horses and children of all types including disadvantaged children and children with emotional and behavioral challenges.

Description

T.E.A.R. obtains horses from neglectful situations, auctions, or horse owners looking for an alternative to auctions for their horse. We then re-train or rehabilitate the horses if necessary so they may be offered for adoption to a good home. If the equine has a physical or mental disability, which prevents them from being placed in our adoption program, they remain on our farm in sanctuary for the remainder of their lives.
