Mission Statement

Gina Bachauer International Foundation seeks to further the art of piano, foster excellence in performance and teaching, develop opportunities for pianists beyond the scope of the organization and offer leadership in developin music-educated citizens. By holding international piano competitions, solo recitals, and educational sessions, the Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation aims to:

● Enrich the community by providing significant musical experiences for audiences and performers

● Build an artistic/educational environment that will educate musicians and non-musicians to a higher caliber of understanding and appreciation

● Recognize and encourage superb artistry and assist career development of deserving young pianists

● Promote and perpetuate the pianistic art

Description

The Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation sponsors and hosts opportunities for those that love the piano to perform, educate and to listen. We do this through offering the community bi-annual piano competitons, yearly concert series featuring world renowed pianists and finalists of the past competitons, and monthly recitals in Salt Lake County schools to give students a taste of a piano performance.
