Mission Statement

The Re-Vision Urban Agriculture Projectâ  s mission is to provide job training and education to women who are homeless and in transition, while providing fresh, health food that is affordable for all members of our community. The Re-Vision Urban Agriculture Project has three main objectives shaping our work and directing development of the urban farm: 1) small-scale, â  green,â  economic development; 2) community food security; and 3) job training and education. These goals are woven into the fabric of the farm and the programs we operate.

Description

The Re-Vision Urban Agriculture Project works in conjunction with Re-Vision House, a shelter for homeless young women and their children. The urban farm is an innovative agriculture and aquaculture project aiming to increase access to affordable, nutritious, culturally appropriate food for shelter residents and community members through our community-supported farm and greenhouses.
