Travis Heights Elementary Reading Buddy Program

Mission Statement

Our program is dedicated to making sure that no child is left behind early in their education. In an effort to narrow the learning gap between successful and struggling students, we as community volunteers assist teachers at Travis Heights Elementary to make sure kindergarden, first, second, and third graders can read well and achieve a well-rounded education. We assume that every child is happy, curious, and ready to learn. We also believe teachers, administrative staff, and students are all doing their best. Overall, we are working to make Travis Heights Elementary an outstanding school.
