Mission Statement

Chicktime exists to encourage women to develop their passions and use their gifts to make the world a better place for the next generation. We recognize that children are suffering from abuse and neglect in communities all across America and that it is up to us to help them heal.

Chicktime is a grass roots movement meant to support and encourage women living on the wild side, pursuing their passions with gusto. It is our belief that if each woman on the planet right now takes her place we can together accomplish the phenomenal.

We help passionate women set up Chicktime groups in their areas and get you started with all the goodies (bracelets, t-shirts, and our support!). Chicktime groups accomplish many things, here are a few: Connect women to creative and fun opportunities to pursue their passions while serving others, provide a place for mothers/daughters to serve and play together, and raise awareness for local women and children’s charities.

For the bold, Chicktime can be a vehicle to evangelize by inviting your friends and family to join in the fun... the presence of God is felt when Chicktimegroups meet... much like the restorative and transcendental healing found in nature. Those not close to God will feel his presence atChicktime and begin to crave more!

Each Chicktime chapter partners with local charities. A typical Chicktime chapter consists of a minimum of 12 core chicks, one for each month (based on the "bunco concept!") Most chapters grow to 100+ members! Each chick identifies her gift - something she loves to do - and shares it with other chicks and the charities her chapter serves in order to encourage all involved to identify and develop their gifts and use them to help others! If you are not the leader that month, as a volunteer, you just show up to assist the leader and love on the children your charity serves - guilt-free serving!

The idea is to expose the next generation to a wide array of gifts and talents so that they can look inside themselves and identify their own.

"Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us." James 1:27

I have a lot of experience in helping younger kiddos. I take much joy and honor in being impactful on any kid who can use my help.

I want to work with Chicktime because I feel I would make a great impact in our community because I am trying to spread awareness about child neglection myself, so I can inform people about this organization as well.

Most people want to help and change the lives of others, but don't know where or how to begin. With this organization people are shown what to do to make a difference.

The better question is why not. So many kids fall through the cracks and get lost. Its us to us to help them

The time I spend volunteering with Chicktime is so rewarding. My local chapter partners with a children's home serving 80 physically and/or sexually abused little girls who need to know they matter to the local community. The Chicktime organization encourages women to identify their passions and gifts and turn them into workshops to bring to these children, like yoga, cooking classes, sewing, even singing and dancing. This fun play time with the children can get a little wild and crazy as grown women are laughing and playing along with children, I love it. I also love that there are chapters all throughout the USA searching out and finding charities that support victims of abuse because I like being a part of an organization that allows any woman to invest her skills and resources in these children. Child abuse is a cycle and the children being abused need to feel loved and cared for and I like doing my part to make sure they know they are.
