Mission Statement

To foster lifelong learning and environmental stewardship at Bluff Lake, a unique urban wildlife refuge.

Description

Bluff Lake Natural Center is a 123-acre wildlife refuge, managed as a non-profit, located in northeast Denver. This local gem, is the largest privately owned open space in the metro area. We depend on volunteers to maintain our site and provide programs. Each year more than 30,000 people come to visit our three miles of trails, experience science and nature through our school-based field trips, summer camps and family programs, to encounter birds (over 150 species logged!), or to escape a bustling urban area.
