Mission Statement

Kisumu Youth Network is a Voluntary Community Based Organization (CBO) The group is registered with the Government of Kenyaâ??s (GOKâ??S) Ministry of Culture and social services. The group mobilizes the recruitment of youth groups Individuals in the catchment areas and solicits funding sponsorships from friendly donors and partners sources for addressing social economic problems with a view to improve the quality of life. AIMS AND OBJECTIVE This is a rescue programme for Orphans Truants and Street Children who are unlikely to attain Normal child Development in accordance with the U.Nâ??s Caricature on the rights of Child. It is proposed to 4.1 Create an enabling environment by establishing another Orphanage for protecting caring supporting rehabilitating educating and training in A skills Development to Create Economic Productive Employable self reliant Citizens. 4.2 Protect the Target group form exposure and Vulnerability to HIV/AIDS infection through Economic Empowerment and Counseling and theyâ??re by Prevent the Spread of HIV/AIDS amongst the younger generation. 4.3 Identify and sensitize the target Group about predisposing and push factors (Causes that lead to deviance truancy and Street children. 4.4 Develop self-Disciplined and Self-reliance Citizens and thereby minimizes incidence of Social Crimes. 4.5 Establishing a revolving Fund Loan Scheme (RFLS) for accessible start up capital for conducting Income generating Project (IGP) 4.6 Improve the Quality of life of the Target Group 4.7 Develop a model that can be replicated Nationally and Internationally particularly its Smooth truncation from childhood though a Grown up economically Occupied target Groups.
