Mission Statement

Puppymillrescue, is an internet-based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Created to locate, foster, vet, and place in forever loving homes, purebred dogs previously used as breeders in Puppy Mills. We house feed, rehabilitate, socialize, seek medical attention for, and spay/neuter the dogs rescued from a life of horror. Our motto: "One dog at a time"

Description

We need/must purchase a building for use as a sanctuary in order to help more dogs effectively. We are looking for land and buildings in the Missouri Ozarks and ways to fund that operation. We are also looking for good, caring, loving foster homes. Puppymillrescue's programs include a pet rescue transport list/group of 1800 people who give their free time to help take rescued dogs into foster or a forever home. We support our adopters on an internet list at any time they can ask get help and guidance with their new rescued dog. We also help other organizations who rescue puppy mill dogs who are financially in dire need or who found themselves under exceptional circumstances, for example a fire. We believe all our programs educate the general public to the plight of the forced breeding of dogs in the USA.

I worked for this organizatuon many years ago I was in charge of matching dogs to adoptive parents , also did some emergency fostering. I was the mother to the once infamous Ivan a little chi who was a cult hero at one of the colleges. I have MS cannot do alot but I can make calls etc.If you can use me in any way I would be honored. I personally have two toy breed rescues one from a mill, who was in the worse shape I had ever seen a dog in I have had him a year this is his forever home he is a Rat Terrier. I also have a litlle chi, no abuse but neglect. anything I can do let me know I have aklot of spare time and am devoted to animals big time Thanks for concidering me. Elaine Vazquez
