Mission Statement
Our Mission: To provide mental health and substance abuse treatment services that are professional, comprehensive, culturally inclusive and fully integrated across health care; to create opportunities that empower people to recover and to improve their quality of life; and to promote public acceptance of mental illness.
Description
There’s a good chance that you - or someone you know - will experience emotional or behavioral challenges at some point. After all, some form of mental illness affects one out of every five American families each year. It is an equal-opportunity disease that can happen to anyone at any time. Whether you have anxiety, stress, depression, drug or alcohol addiction, or bipolar disorder -- or any other mental health challenge -- it doesn’t have to take over your life or your loved ones' lives.
We are here to help.
Arapahoe Douglas Mental Health Network provides a wide variety of mental health and substance abuse services, including individual, family, marital and group counseling, therapy, groups, psychiatry, emergency and residential treatment programs. As a private, nonprofit mental health provider for more than 55 years, we've been serving the children, teens, adults, seniors and families in our community -- and beyond.
We offer comprehensive, culturally inclusive behavioral health services.
Our counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, benefits and housing specialists, and other specialized staff provide a wide range of services -- including outpatient counseling and psychiatric services, emergency and acute care treatment, short- and long-term residential (inpatient) treatment, programs for those with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI), and a host of other programs. Specialized offerings include our therapeutic day treatment school; programs for those struggling with bipolar disorder, grief, post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD), borderline personality disorder; intensive services and more.
