Saving Dogs’ Lives - Educating People!


It’s a Pittie Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabbing and rehoming the Pit Bull breeds and educating people about one of America’s most loyal and kind breeds, one dog at a time.

We are a volunteer based, no-kill rescue.

Description

This rescue takes in all ages of bully breeds and the occasional non-bully. We nurture them, bring them back to health if needed, provide loving care in foster homes until they are adopted into a forever home. We have strict guidelines on where our dogs go and continue with contact with fosters and adopters. We hold adoption events and fundraisers. We find every means possible to advocate for the breed and help our dogs become admirable representatives of the breed. We are an all volunteer, not-for-profit with a tax deductible 501c3 filed and in progress.

I have volunteered for this group for 5 years. They are an upstanding, dedicated and trustworthy organization with high standards. Every volunteer is treated like family and is very appreciated. We see every day how the little things that we do can help improve or save lives of abandoned, neglected or abused animals. Its sometimes heartbreaking, but mostly uplifting. I am so glad I found this rescue 5 years ago and cant say enough about the board, the outstanding and dedicated vet that we work with , the trainers and mentors and each and every one of the fosters and volunteers. I will continue to be with this rescue group for as long as there are pets to help.
