Mission Statement

The primary mission of the Orange County Social Services Agency Children's Services Program is to protect the children of Orange County from identified abusive, exploitive, and neglectful situations in accordance with state and federal laws and at the level of state and federal funding made available. In fulfilling this mission, all reasonable efforts are made to maintain children safely in their own homes, to remove those children who cannot be protected, to reunite children with their families as soon as is safely possible, and to secure stable and permanent long term homes for children who cannot be reunited with their family.
