Mission Statement

United Paws of Tillamook is dedicated to spaying and neutering companion cats and dogs of low-income residents of Tillamook County and county feral cats (Trap/Neuter/Return), thus preventing and alleviating animal suffering by humanely addressing overpopulation and homelessness.

Description

With little in the way of animal services for Tillamook county, United Paws has expanded beyond a spay/neuter group to become a "virtual shelter" for cats in particular. We run a rescue/foster/adoption program for cats and some dogs. United Paws has no facility; all animals are fostered or self-fostered. We provide veterinary services to fostered animals through local veterinarians, promotion of animals, adoption events. United Paws further maintains a pet food program to provide food to those experiencing financial hardship. United Paws also provides limited veterinary financial aid to low income residents on a case-by-case basis for cats & dogs in emergency medical need.
