Description

A two-day fundraising event to benefit the maintenance and preservation of the historic Scripps Mansion, a 67-room architectural masterpiece built at a cost of more than $2 million nearly 80 years ago. Tours of the Mansion by the Lake Orion Historical Society will highlight the event's activities, which include an art show and sale, dozens of classic automobiles, musical entertainment, and food concessions. Shuttle busses will be making regular stops at Canterbury Village on Saturday and Sunday. The tours will showcase the Mansion's beautiful and rare stained glass windows and doorways which are being restored with proceeds from the prior two year's "Art, Autos & Architecture at the Scripps Mansion."
