Mission Statement

Within a positive atmosphere built on love, nurturing, and discipline, P.A.R.K. strives to enrich the lives of central Arkansas’ at-risk youth (grades 8 -
12). Specifically, P.A.R.K. exists to
build the confidence, self-esteem and spiritual awareness in its members, to
ensure their academic achievement, to expand their horizons, and to instill in
them the importance of helping others.

Description

P.A.R.K. is a comprehensive year-round weekly educational after-school and summer enrichment program for at-risk youth, grades 8 through 12. We provide services for approximately 250 students in the fall and 150 -200 in the summer. Our facility is located in Little Rock, Arkansas and we provide a balanced program of homework management and tutoring,
leadership development and community service to mold productive citizens, and have an impressive recreational facility to entice students from Little Rock School District and Fuller, Mills and Robinson Junior and Senior High Schools in the Pulaski
County School District, into learning, studying and giving. H ours
of Operation: In the fall, we have
partnered with First Student School Bus Transportation Service to transport our students from their prospective schools to our facility. The fall hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on Monday and 8:00 am - 7:00 pm. Tuesday through Friday. Every summer, P.A.R.K. has the Summer Enrichment Program from June - July. Students attend P.A.R.K. daily from 8:00 a.m. -
5:00 p.m.
