To carry out the development and execution of beautification, cleanliness, litter-prevention, leadership development and revitalization programs within the city, thereby improving the quality of life and affecting economic development objectives.

Description

Keep Haltom City Beautiful is made up of board members appointed to their positions by city councilmembers. Each serves two-year terms and may be reappointed to unlimited terms. The organization is affiliated with Keep Texas and Keep America Beautiful, and members not only plan community improvement programs and projects, they volunteer to facilitate these programs. Litter pickups, recycling events, educational programs and community celebrations are just a few of the responsibilities of KHCB members. The city provides a small annual budget, meaning volunteer assistance is sought to assure success of each program.
