Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity is an international ecumenical non-profit organization who partners with low-income families in need, along with the community we serve, to provide simple, decent and affordable housing for those in need.

Description

We build houses using volunteer labor, and donated building materials, for low-income families in need. We serve individuals and families on the westside of Portland, mainly Washington County and a small portion of Clackamas County. Since we opened in 1988, we have served over 100 families in Washington County.

Few other volunteering opportunities allows those who are volunteering to work next to and talk with the adults that they are serving and to hear their stories.
