Tomorrow’s Leaders NYC (TLNYC),is a organization that was established to work with over-age students who reside and attend school in the East New York section of Brooklyn, NY. An over-age student is one who has repeated a grade one or more times. We are currently the first and only organization in Brooklyn designed to meet the needs and interests of this population. These students have been identified as being likely to drop out of high school and engage in at-risk behaviors. In order to remedy this situation, these students need as much positive, consistent support as possible. Our programs will provide services in the following areas: academic support, family support, mentoring, vocational workshops/trips, youth empowerment lessons, and community development projects.
