Mission Statement

The Environmental Victory Project is a project of the League of Conservation Voters, which is the political voice of the national environmental community. LCV supports or opposes congressional candidates based on their environmental records regardless of their party. This year LCV is launching its largest effort ever in the presidential election, due to the unprecedented assault on the environment by the Bush Administration.

Description

Throughout the summer and fall, we'll be going door-to-door to talk with undecided voters about the Bush administration's unprecedented assault on the environment. There's no better way to communicate the urgency of our message than to take it directly to the voters, person-to-person. We will also be working to recruit more volunteers and engage local activists to take part in our campaign. (Our Madison number is 608-255-4800 x103.)
