Mission Statement

Ravenswood Community Child Care Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a warm, nurturing and safe environment for the children. Through a growing sense of community within the child care center, families leave RC4 with an increased support network of other families as well as knowledge about ways in which children learn, what can be expected at various developmental stages of growth and how to navigate the Chicago Public School system for the benefit of their child.


Description

Ravenswood Community Child Care Center serves a combination of teen parents and community families, intentionally providing opportunities for all parents to: enhance parenting skills; find support; engage in their child's development and education and achieve their family's goals. Children of teen parents receive subsidized tuition but subsidies alone to do not support the budgetary needs to provide the excellent care and education RC4 is known for.
