Description

A non-profit organization and a branch of the City of Norfolk, Department of Public Works. Programs include environmental educationand outreach, litter prevention (Adopt-A-Spot, Great American Cleanup, Clean the Bay Day), waste reduction and recycling, beautification and community improvement, and wetland restoration.

Great, passionate group of people! Inspired me to recycle a lot more, particularly hazardous waste items that can't go into recycling and don't belong in the trash. I would volunteer here again. The donuts and caramel pretzel chocolate was also nice... Lots of good snack choices and very well run, organized event.
