REDEEM the Horse and Child STRENGTHEN the Family DISCOVER the Spirit To strengthen children and families through the learning of core values, honor, discipline and respect; and most importantly discovering hope for the family through the way of the horse. Powerful stuff for a little horsin' around!
The beauty of Reigning Grace Ranch is a ministry all its own. Creating and maintaining this environment has proven to be quite a challenge. However, our volunteer force has been invaluable in keeping things going. A trip here will prove this, as the hands of those who freely give their time have built so much of this peaceful place. Reigning Grace is a ranch...but at its core it is a family.
Reigning Grace is dedicated to the lives and well- being of our rescued & program horses and the children and families that come through the gate. Our goal is to give the child and horse an authentic experience of what it means to work hard for what they have, be a part of something bigger than they are, team work, love, safety, encouragement and hope without judgment or competition. We nurture creativity, individuality, and play. We have a staff of trained volunteers that work as a mentor between the horse and child. Each session runs 90 minutes long. Some activities that may happen in a session can consist of the following activities: daily barn chore, grooming, bathing, riding lesson, gardening, painting a horse, creative writing, play (just being a kid), building, horsemanship, vetting and any creative safe activity that our mentors and children can dream up! Each child is loved and welcomed with open arms.
I love to volunteer at Reigning Grace Ranch because the second you drive through the gates the outside world seems to melt away and you have a chance to make a difference in the lives of the children and the horses.
All of the volunteers and staff are amazing and dedicated people. Chris and Amanda have sacrificed so much of their own life to help the children and horses that are fortunate enough to have found a home at Reigning Grace Ranch! Please come join us!

There are many volunteer opportunities at this organization. It is a working ranch and yet it is such a peaceful place to be for children, families and volunteers alike. There are ranch hand opportunities, mentor opportunities, fundraising opportunities....the list is endless. The volunteer opportunities are only limited by your imagination.
