Border Crossers

Mission Statement

Border Crossers is a grassroots education nonprofit working to alleviate the de-facto segregation in New York City schools by bringing students together across the borders of race and class to explore issues of inequality, discrimination and social justice. For ten years, we have provided structured opportunities for K-8 students to develop meaningful relationships with peers from other racial and socioeconomic backgrounds through weekend programs, school partnerships, and other in-school activities.
