Mission Statement

The In Series works with and for Washington area artists to create innovative theatrical programming in opera, cabaret and song, embracing fresh approaches to the classics, blending the performing arts in unconventional ways, and featuring Latino programs each season. The In Series is committed to excellence, diversity, partnership and affordability.

Description

The In Series specializes in presenting DC artists in an inspiring and eclectic blend of opera, cabaret, theater, dance, chamber music, poetry, and Latino heritage productions. Our creative artists, performers and support team are part of The In Series family. We strive to offer affordable opera and musical productions to the community. In addition to innovative productions, we engage in community outreach through interacting with local youth in our annual Finding Gabriela D.C. Youth Poetry contest.
