Description

City College of San Francisco and the Mayor's Program, City Build Academy, join forces to educate San Francisco residents to become construction workers. Our program is pre-apprenticeship training. Upon completion of the program, they get hired by local unions and begin their apprenticeship training.

CityBuild Academy began in 2005, in an effort to centralize citywide efforts to develop employment opportunities for San Francisco residents in the construction trades. This program is offered by OEWD in partnership with:

• The Building and Trades Council of San Francisco
• City College of San Francisco
• Local community based organizations
