Mission Statement

Sound Youth AmeriCorps aims to build strength in King County's young people through tutoring, mentoring, after-school programs, and family involvement activities. All of our AmeriCorps and VISTA members serve in grassroots programs where they are truly depended on to bring creativity, commitment, and dedication to youth programs.

Description

AmeriCorps members receive a modest living stipend, health care, extensive job training, team building, and a $4,725 education award to help pay qualified student loans or tuition.
