Mission Statement
The Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge is a coalition of state and non-profit entities that are working together to help Connecticut become a leader in energy efficiency. Through innovative grassroots strategies, Neighbor to Neighbor aims to help residents in 14 communities reduce energy use in their homes by 20%.
Description
The Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge is an innovative US Department of Energy grant-funded pilot program based out of Wethersfield, CT. In the 14 communities that we work in, our overall programmatic goal is to help residents reduce energy use thier homes by 20%. We strive to meet this 20% goal through grassroots organizing strategies that are implimented by our staff along with community members. We work in the following communities:
