Mission Statement

Our mission is (1) Promote spay and neuter programs to break the cycle of unwanted and neglected animals; (2) continue a pet identification program to help provide quick return of lost pets to their homes; (3) to provide education about how to be responsible pet guardians and training programs for service and therapy dogs, (4) to communicate to members of our community regarding our efforts and their results.

The Animal Welfare Association, Inc. is a non profit organization, organized in 1998 and incorporated in 2002, whose goal is to encourage and improve the human to animal bond, provide animals with safe, happy homes that are free from abuse and cruelty, and to keep the community updated on information that may affect them as pet owners or residents of LaGrange County, Indiana
