We advance our Mission by putting Christian principles into practice through programs which build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all by improving the quality of life and character of youth, teens, and families in all areas we serve. We accomplish this through the quality of programs and services we offer at our existing locations (covering 8 counties), and through continued efforts to expand our services and locations through increased financial support and partnerships. Our competitive advantage is that the Capital District YMCA is a charitable, not-for-profit organization that exists to meet the current and merging needs of all, regardless of their ability to pay. We sustain this effort through the consistent growth of earned revnue, and through discretionary and competitive contributed income.
