Mission Statement

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra League's mission is to support the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and its goals through exciting fundraising events, music education programs, and community engagement. In over 50 seasons, the MSO League has donated countless volunteer hours and millions of dollars to the orchestra’s operating budget.

The MSO League supports several MSO programs by raising money through fundraisers and special events.

MSO LEAGUE FUNDRAISING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Assist with raising funds for the MSO and Arts in Community Education (ACE) Program through fundraisers and special events Activities could include initiating and executing events while co-charing or serving on various subcommittees to handle food/beverage, decor, invitations/mailings, entertainment, silent auctions, marketing and sponsorships.

MSO LEAGUE EDUCATION VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Assist the MSO Education Department at education events and concerts in support of initiatives including ACE Concerts, Youth Concerts, Joan Steel Stein Kinderkonzerts, Young Artists Auditions and the Audrey G. Baird Stars of Tomorrow Concert.

MSO LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP

Assist with recruitment, engagement, and retention of MSO League members and volunteers.

OTHER MSO LEAGUE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The MSO staff is always in need of an extra pair of hands. Let us know if you want to be listed as an on-call volunteer on an as-needed basis.

Hello, I enjoy volunteering throughout Milwaukee. My most recent and ongoing volunteering has been at the Discovery World, as a Docent, also I enjoy the Arts. I would like to have an opportunity to volunteer as needed. Possibly for various subcommittees to handle food/beverage, decor/invitations/mailings entertainment or silent auctions. Ms. A.
