Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide financial assistance to meet the specific needs of military families and those affected by cancer.

PS Charities raises funds from both individual gifts and corporate sponsorships. Throughout the year, we host several prominent charity events, including:

The Major Douglas A. Zembiec Memorial Golf Tournament

Doug Zembiec, a highly decorated Marine officer and Naval Academy graduate, was killed while leading a raid on insurgents in Baghdad on May 11, 2007. Zembiec, 34, was awarded the Silver Star posthumously and received a Bronze Star with a V for valor for leading an infantry company in repeated assaults against insurgents in the Battle of Fallujah in 2004.100% of all proceeds for this tournament are donated through the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation to the following scholarships:

*Ramon J. Mendoza, Jr., USMC/Major Douglas A. Zembiec, USMC

*Corporal Elliot Tiesler, USMC

We are more than just one charity. We are hundreds of people joined together by a passion to serve our community. We are relentless in the effort to creating a better life for the ones we care for. We bring hope into the lives of those affected by cancer. We support the men and women who protect our country. We are more than just one charity; we are a family, we are a community, and we are passionate about our cause.

Many of our members at PS Charities, including staff, volunteers board members, contributors, and sponsors, have a personal connection with our cause. Whether survivors of cancer, family to military, or simply believe in helping others, the people of PS Charities are united by the passion to support people who truly need a helping hand.

PS Charities is a partner to Professional Solutions (ProSol). Since 2002 ProSol has held an annual charity golf tournament to benefit numerous organizations such as the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, GWU Breast Care Center, Leukemia & Lymphoma and many more.
