We are one of two organizations in the country that actively provide a lifetime home to elder stallions. In 2010 we expanded our mission to include a spay & neuter program, and adoption program for feral & stray cats and kittens in our area.Part of our mission is education. We educate adults, brownies, elementary and high school students, and 4-H groups about responsible pet ownership. In 2008 we established the feline division of our charity. Residing in a rural farming community made us aware of the lack of respect for companion animals, barn cats in particular. Many farmer's where our facility was formerly located embraced the concept of natural selection and survival of the fittest, preferring not to spay or neuter their cats and dogs. We are attempting to alter this misconception through education.
