Mission Statement

ARF’s mission is to improve the quality of life for companion animals and their caretakers in Snohomish County through increased community involvement and fundraising with and for the Everett Animal Shelter.

Description

The Animal Rescue Foundation of Everett was founded in 2005 to support the work of the Everett Animal Shelter, Snohomish County’s largest and only open-admission shelter. Through a variety of exciting fundraising activities, ARF is able to cover the costs of veterinary care and enrichment materials, enabling countless animals to regain their physical and mental health and find their new families. In addition, our adoption events give the shelter animals additional opportunities for adoption and helps keep the census down at the shelter. ARF depends solely upon volunteers to carry out our mission. We have no paid employees, so more money goes directly to the shelter’s animals.
