Mission Statement

The New Mexico Arts and Crafts Fair, a 501(c)3 non profit, has been a "must-see" summer event since 1962. Featuring exclusively New Mexico artisans and craftspeople, our mission is to promote a premier juried event to present the most talented New Mexicans. The Fair encourages and supports youth as well, ensuring future generations will have a venue to display and sell their work directly to the public in an open air gallery setting.

Description

The New Mexico Arts & Crafts Fair is the longest continuously running arts festival featuring exclusively New Mexico artisans. This prestigious, juried arts fair showcases over 220 of New Mexico's most talented artists and craftspeople, many of whom enjoy national and international reputations. The fair ranks among the largest events in the state, offering artists the opportunity to display and sell their work directly to the public in an "open-air" gallery setting. The Fair attracts approximately 15,000 prospective buyers and averages $700,000 in sales to the artists, making its total impact on the community about $900,000 per year.
