CAVHS has eight Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in Conway, Hot Springs, El Dorado, Mountain Home, Mena, Pine Bluff, Russellville and Searcy, Arkansas. CAVHS employees staff four of the eight CBOCs: Conway, Hot Springs, Searcy and Russellville. These clinics serve Veterans living in northern, western, and central Arkansas counties, as well as border counties in surrounding states. Unique to the facility is our Veterans Day Treatment Center for homeless Veterans, located in downtown Little Rock and the Home Health Care Service Center, which operates from Hot Springs, as well as from an off-site location in Little Rock. We also support the Vet Center located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. CAVHS is classified as a Level 1b facility on the VA complexity model. CAVHS provides comprehensive healthcare through primary, tertiary, and long-term care in areas of medicine, surgery, mental health, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, dentistry, ophthalmology, geriatrics and extended care, women’s health and education. CAVHS is active in research and emergency preparedness.
