Mission Statement

The Jaycees (Junior Chamber) are a community service and personal development organization for men and women between the ages of 21 to 40. But more than that, it's a group of young adults who care about their communities, about growing as individuals, about making worthwhile friendships, and making a difference.

Description

The Jaycees, Junior Chamber of Commerce, is a volunteer, non profit organization of young people between the ages of 21 and 40 with over 2000 chapters, and more than 75,000 members nationwide. In the state of Washington there are over 500 members in 16 chapters covering both Eastern and Western Washington. Our programs stress the development of the individual member's leadership and managerial skills through the running of, and participation in projects that benefit the community. As well as providing an atmosphere of camaraderie, where contacts and friendships can be made and grow.
