Rockwood Mansion Park is operated by New Castle County for the benefit and enjoyment of the public while emphasizing historic, educational, cultural and recreational properties of the main house and grounds.

Description

Rockwood is a 19th century rural gothic manor house which was built in 1851 and remained in the same family until 1974. The home is decorated with many of the original furnishings. There are beautiful gardens and walking paths. Rockwood is listed on the National Historic Register.
