Mission Statement

We believe that it is possible to provide an environment for our elders that will enrich their lives. Eden Center is a "garden" where they have the opportunity to turn loneliness into new friendships; boredom into meaningful activities; and helplessness into useful involvement in this community of peers, children, pets, plants and staff. For our elders caregivers we provide education, resources, emotional support and respite so the family unit may remain intact.

Description

Adult Day Care Services, Inc. serves the frail elderly, elders with dementia and adults with physical and mental health challenges. Eden Center is the first Adult Day Care facility in United States to receive the honor of granting membership in the Eden Alternative Group. Eden Center provdies the care for the elderly in an environment of a true home away from home. There are pets to care for, two dogs and a large black cat as well as an outside aviary with cocktails and parakeets, plus an indoor parrot. The Center also has intergenerational activities with local elementary adn middle school children.
