100% volunteer based organization helping horses that have been victims of abuse, neglect, abandonment or that are simply unwanted. ERR provides shelter, rehabilitation and adoption services out of a farm located in Pine Bush, New York. Our website was created to provide the general public with a source of information related to the many unpleasant facets of the equine industry that you do not normally hear about, such as auctions, slaughter houses, licensed horse dealers specializing in slaughter horses (killer buyers), inhumane transportation, pregnant mares urine (PMU) industy, and nurse mare farms. ERR is dedicated to fostering a cohesive environment within the equine community and strongly believe that education, cooperation and networking are the keys to making a difference for horses in need.
