Mission Statement

LifeWorks provides therapeutic outdoor/nature programs for abused and neglected children in Napa County.

Description

LifeWorks is grounded in the belief that victims of childhood trauma will benefit most from early and on going intervention. We provide a sustained healing opporuntiy for children at risk. By guiding wounded children toward caring attachments---to plants, animals, peers and adults---we strive to instill the life skills of empathy and redilience necessary to overcome the damage of abuse and interupt the cycle of abuse.
